Hard to read b or h letters on italic

Open medmedin2014 opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

It's really difficult to differentiate between h and b using italic especially using 12 or 10 pt sizes Screenshot_20200114_161422

It would be better to make it like what Crimson Pro did Screenshot_20200114_161851

Get a time travel machine and tell that to Claude Garamont... But yes, in all seriousness I agree, it would be nice to have an OpenType variant for the h.

It's never bad to change what is old, even if it's something precious, to get something better for life. What is bad is to always stick to old standards that make life hard.

Garamond-Math has an stylistic set (10) for an out-bending italic h, which also IMHO is easier to read than the current option. Thanks!
