Better Foliage 1.16.5 Crash

I've already tried everything and I see that the problem is Better Foliage, It causes Minecraft to crash. This is due to Optifine since Better Foliage is not compatible with this mod and I think it is because of the Grass Block that makes it look more "Detailed" which both mods do, and since the 2 do it, it can only be one. And Optifine at this point is essential to use when playing with Mods. I would recommend removing the Detailed Grass Block in Better Foliage or you'll see what they do. Or if you already have a solution for this I would love to know

Hello, ive noticed this issue aswell and have done some testing, im running the setup with the following information in a fresh instance for testing:

Launcher: MultiMC5 Forge: 36.2.0 LWJGL:3.2.2 Minecraft: 1.16.5 BetterFoliage: 2.7.1 kotlinForForge: 1.14.0 Optifine: 1.16.5_HD_U_G7 more information in this file crash-2021-09-03_19.43.26-client.txt

it doesnt seem to matter what config you use, if the two mods load they will collide, ive tried disabling everything via config and using nvidia mode(what im assuming "nVidia" is within the config) and the overall toggle at the top of the file

this is a shame because i really like this mod, but its mostly impossible to run without optifine on low end parts, hope this information helps with the patch

sigh tlauncher. anyway, lever1209, your issue seems to be caused by the launcher?...something appears to be skewering the mixin stuff, try using another client like the regular one and see if the crash continues.

as for elcris, nobody can really help you without taking a look at the crash report or latest log. please do so by pasting it into a paste website and linking it here >.>
