Crediting Dear ImGui in an application...
[admin: removed unused template]
Just an easy one (I think) Dear ImGUI experience has been a lot better than my wildest dreams (and my dreams can be quite wild!!!) so when I eventually release the project I'm working on I'd like to give some credit.
As an example my editor application uses FFMPEG underneath so I have a logo for it etc in the about screen.
My project uses a few 3rd party libraries now (load png, tga, dds... threading... and .zip support) so in the end would credit each library.
Is there a preferred/any logo for Dear ImGui? The one below is about the only one I could find.

Hello,
We currently don't have a very official logo, but this year started to sneakily enable a visual that would appear as preview of external social media links. If you really fancy using visuals you can use this:

I haven't used it very much as I wasn't happy with the font I used and wanted it to be handdrawn like the background, but haven't got around to get it done. (Art courtesy of my partner http://www.albanekim.com). I'll see if I can get this finished :)
Same as #240
Hey, I am planning on using a custom made logo for ImGui. I also want to share it if anyone else would like to use it and I am providing it without any license (CC0).
I am also attaching the svg files: other.zip
It seems odd to be inventing a logo for a project that's not yours. Why not using the logo I provided?
Hey, I didn't want to offend you. The logo provided cannot be used since I need a small version to credit the library on top of another picture and not on a splash screen. I would gladly use the one you showed on social media or blog posts though.
If you don't like them I can delete the comment and use them only for myself. I just wanted to share.
I would gladly use the one you showed on social media or blog posts though.
Not sure what you are referring to. Feel free to resize/crop the above if useful.
I'm not too fussed about it but found it quite unusual to be creating your own logo.
I realize there is a need and may put work at finishing the above in variety of formats.
I would love to see other formats of your logo. <3
I don't think it is uncommon for people to create their own renditions of a logo.
Actually I might use your official version if you say it is okay to crop/resize it to fit my needs.

I may be joining this thread a bit late, but has this changed?
I don’t think you realize how important it is for us to have a solid logo that we can use to credit the library properly in our projects.
I absolutely love Dear ImGui, and I’m nobody to criticize, but without wanting to offend you, what has been provided is not a proper logo—it’s not transparent, it's in non-standard sizes, and it looks like a simple font on a random background.
ImGui needs a true identity, something we can proudly showcase everywhere. Take a look at the SFML logo or the Raylib logo, those are great examples. They’re not fancy, but they give the library a clear and distinct identity.
There are plenty of illustrators or graphic designers out there who would be willing to provide you with something professional for free; you just need to take the time to explain your vision and collaborate with them.
I hope we’ll soon have wonderful visuals for this amazing library.
Have a good day! :)
The images above are the intended visual identity, but I will work toward sharing a nice folder with it in various shapes, ratio and sizes. I realize it is not standard not transparent, but I don't see how that would be a problem if you want to use it for crediting in your projects.
Posting it above in large size, high-resolution above was a mistake because it makes it more tempting to not see it as a logo. But it works decently at smaller size.
The painting was hand picked but admittedly I never finished the text properly as I used a font for it rather than having it hand-crafted.
I 'll get back to you soon (I'll ask a friend for help)
Any updates for a small version logo? :)
