Missing icons

Here on KDE 4.10.3 I am missing an icon for the desktop shortcut and windows titlebar. Would be great if there was added one, please.

This was tricky before we had a .desktop entry, but now it should be easy. Icon suggestions welcome :) I'll look for something with an adequate license.

That looks very nice!

Well I just got to update my package now, it appears fine in the start menu on kde, but not in the window titlebar for kwin, and another suggestion to improve the desktop file, on kde the shortcut to this appears in lost & found, and not internet category as it should.

Gnome 3.8 seems to put the icon in all the right places, but sometimes only after a restart. Any chance a restart fixes your titlebars?

I think that we just need to set the "Categories" field in fbmessenger.desktop. If you can figure out a value that works well for KDE, I'd be happy to merge it.

Well I have very little experience with .desktop files but if we take transmission as an example, here it works great in this regard:

Categories=Network;FileTransfer;P2P;Qt;

Just change some of them according to where fbmessenger fits in.

After studying a few other .desktop files, it seems that "Network" is the one that places them in the correct category.

Confirmed, adding "Categories=Network" to it, places it in the correct category at least in KDE.

Any luck with Kwin?

No. Restartet fbmessenger multiple times, logged in and out of kde multiple times.
