Mouse cursor is almost invisible in the code editing pane

When using the learn-ocaml application, when the mouse cursor enters the code editing pane, it changes into a very thin "text insertion" cursor, which is almost invisible, as it is basically a black one-pixel-wide line against a dark grey background.

This is under MacOS, in both Firefox and Safari.

I would like to provide a screenshot, but the Capture application gives me a screenshot where the mouse cursor is not visible at all.
