Compatibility with Django 2.x?

Open volans- opened this issue 7 years ago • 5 comments

Are there any plans to support Django 2.x? And in case there are, do you have any time estimation on when this support might be available?

At the moment there aren't any plans I'm aware of. (Though we're open to contributions.)

Unfortunately internally I've moved away from the area that we needed this library for, so I've got not pressing need to work on this.

@mikebryant thanks for the reply, regarding contributions, though, I saw that PR #49 claims to add Django 2 support and was passing the tests but is pending since April without any activity. I didn't had a chance yet to test it myself, so I cannot comment on that, but I was wondering if maybe it was just missed.

I had to manually update the foreign keys to include on_delete, it seems to be working fine in Django 2.1. Thank you for making this library, I appreciate it

@volans- Sorry about this, I've not been keeping up well with github notification emails.

I'll add this to my todo list, and try and get that PR reviewed and merged.

@mikebryant Thanks for the update, this is a great news. Me too I didn't had any time so far to work on my related project where this will be needed, hence my silence.
