Please provide the crash report. Upload as a file, don't copy/paste the test.

  1. Open Console.app (Located in /Applications/Utilities).
  2. Navigate to the Crash Reports view along the left sidebar, then sort the table by date to find the most recent crash with the OBS process name.

The report is pretty long which section should I add to the txt file to upload?

We need the whole report.

The format you've uploaded that in is not readable.

Could you please:

  1. In Console.app, with the crash selected, right-click it and select "Reveal in Finder"?
  2. In Finder, right click the crash file and select "Compress <crash file>..."
  3. Drag and drop the created .zip file onto a comment here?

I am receiving the same error, cannot open OBS at all. Tried reinstalling it, doesn't help at all. Here's my crash report:

OBS-2025-02-27-234221.ips.zip

What is interesting is that I don't have anything OBS related in the /Library/Application Support

This crash is #11801 (addressed by #11895).

As for the crash in the OP, we still do not have a crash report to positively identify what the crash is. It may be a 'known issue' where the YouTube Live Control Panel dock crashes on exit on macOS because of a somewhat complex OBS/Qt/CEF issue. In that case, closing the YouTube dock would resolve the crash. But again, without a report, currently not able to confirm.
