I've been reproducing this, pre-beta, for some time on my machine (14.4 currently). I can also reproduce it on the beta. A quick repro for this particular trace seems to be:

  1. Open OBS
  2. Tab out, and back in.
  3. Open Settings

Very frustrating. It seems not all Mac users are vulnerable. I suspect this could be related to https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/issues/10017 but I don't have any solid theories.

I think this is fixed by https://github.com/obsproject/obs-deps/commit/d90e263ae7b1024edfea1b7f915572c7c22ddb17. I'd try the latest OBS 30.1 beta (beta 3 or greater) and verify.
