Import Google Takeout for Keep notes doesn't finish and freezes

I got about 27 notes to import successfully. Not all without a few weird filenames, but at least they show up. My Keep is supposed to have almost a thousand notes by now though. The rest didn't import. It also seems like Obsidian is freezing. It's not completely crashing; I can close it from the taskbar but not in the window. It turns to a black window if you maximize it. No error message about a crash. I restarted it a few times.

Expected behavior: 1000+ Google Keep notes imported. If a few filenames and tags to tweak, that's fair.

Actual results: Only finishes about 27 notes and freezes. Doesn't seem to crash, window can be closed from taskbar.

Troubleshooting I tried:

1. Restart Obsidian and try the import again. Results: freezes after the same notes imported but now with duplicates ending in '1'
2. Delete vault files and startover
3. Check the takeout file for any missing files. Seems to be complete.

Perhaps there is some json weirdness in my Keep Takeout zip file. Some of my notes are almost ten years old now. Wouldn't be surprised if there are more Keep users. There doesn't seem to be a duplicate of this issue yet. Hope this helps anybody.
