Definition (free text, please give PubMed ID) A peritoneal fold that attaches the anterior portion of each ovary to the posterior part of the broad ligament that surrounds and supports each ovary. The mesovarium contains the ovarian vasculature, nerves and smooth muscle fibers that extend to the ovary.

Hi @emquardokus, this term already exists in uberon mesovarium, although I think there are some wrong assertions (in uberon it is part of the ovarium, which I believe it is not true).
