Any additional notes or concerns It is not clear on the literature if the parent class would be a plasmacytoid dendritic cell, a myeloid dendritic cells, or neither.
Obs: is taxon constraint inherited from parent class?
Anna Maria Masci is currently working with me on a dendritic cell revision. I am waiting for her feedback (don't know her Github handle at the moment); I sent her an email with this issue URL.
AS DCs in addition to AXL express all thee markers of pDC but they have the ability to differentiate into cDC2 so I am not sure if needs to be consider an intermediate state of the DC precursor in Human even if has been shown they functionality.
@masciam, thanks! It seems indeed like an open question how it fits in the general context of DCs.
Hello, This issue seems closed, but I cannot find this term in Cell Ontology. What is the current status of this term? Thanks!
@cakirb sorry for the delay; the issue was stale for a long while, getting it back on track now
Closing this ticket since it appears to be resolved by PR #1687.
