mouse stop working after installing caps2esc

Open dpom opened this issue 4 years ago • 2 comments

Hi,

I installed Interception and caps2esc on a window 10 pro version 20H2 and after restart the usb and bluetooth mouses stopped working. I tried with a regular usb mouse and with a M720 Logitech mouse. After uninstalling Interception they worked again. What should I do in order to have both caps2esc and mouse working?

Thanks

Hi, have you tried installation and have just one mouse connected when you boot? There's a current issue that the driver can only support up to 10 mouse devices and 10 keyboard devices connected. A problem may arise even if you connect less than 10 mouse devices, because many vendors create multi virtual devices for a single physical device. If it doesn't work with just one mouse connected, which mostly sure won't overflow the 10 mice limit, then I don't have any other idea why it's not working on your system without further information.

For what is worth, I am myself a caps2esc user without problems for a long time.

I did not test with both mice connected at the same time. I don't know windows (I'm an old linux user) what other information do you need?
