If this happens again, can you perform a `sample` of the LuLu extension? process (via Activity Monitor)? ...this will provide a thread/stack trace showing me exactly where its stuck/thrashing. Thanks!

Can you check if there are LuLu crash reports? Open `Console.app`, then click on `Crash Reports`, and post any here that belong to LuLu It would also be worth running...
This is a great idea, unfortunately I'm not sure of a simple way to implement this. ...maybe starting with a "Low Data/Mobile Mode" would work, let me think on this...

Ah thanks you, this is helpful information, will look into how to avoid this! (LuLu uses standard macOS APIs to add itself to the status menu bar, and I (naively?)...
