LuLu preventing connection to the internet
I've been using Lulu for about a year with excellent results. When I turned off my computer last night, everything was working great. I turn it on today, and I cannot connect to the internet.
I disabled LuLu, and the internet came back online.
When LuLu is enabled, I cannot connect to the internet, at all.
I made a Loom to demonstrate the issue: https://www.loom.com/share/1a10af9afc0b4fbfa6a484f713d08447
I am having a similar issue until I toggle WiFi off and on after a reboot. While it's not ideal, perhaps it helps you.
I am having a similar problem. I have to disable LuLu to use the internet. When I'm having a problem, I've lost DNS. If I open a terminal app window and type ping google.com, it eventually comes back unknown host. Enabled LuLU ping google.com ping: cannot resolve google.com: Unknown host Disabled LuLu ping google.com PING google.com (142.250.190.110): 56 data bytes 64 bytes from 142.250.190.110: icmp_seq=0 ttl=54 time=44.187 ms 64 bytes from 142.250.190.110: icmp_seq=1 ttl=54 time=47.885 ms 64 bytes from 142.250.190.110: icmp_seq=2 ttl=54 time=37.164 ms 64 bytes from 142.250.190.110: icmp_seq=3 ttl=54 time=43.036 ms 64 bytes from 142.250.190.110: icmp_seq=4 ttl=54 time=44.097 ms 64 bytes from 142.250.190.110: icmp_seq=5 ttl=54 time=43.394 ms
I'm having the same issue, started just today. when Lulo is enabled internet connection is disabled
It seems to have resolved itself for me, oddly.
Started today for me
Came here to report this. I'm using an M1 13.2. What's the common pattern here? LuLu is wrecking DNS, or what exactly?
I had to disable LuLu in order to get anywhere on the internet. From the terminal app, I could not ping google.com until I disabled LuLu. I’m not sure how all the layers of TCP and UDP work anymore. I retired in 2018 and did understand enough about networks to be dangerous at one time. But it is funny how fast that get pushed out of your brain when you don’t need to facilitate your work anymore.
I felt naked and vulnerable without LuLu active, so I went back to using Little Snitch. After i re-installed Little Snitch and activated it the problem went away. I have both LuLu and Little Snitch running and they seem to be able to play together without problems.

same problem,wifi cant get ip
I can confirm to encounter the same behavior. Lulu has been working flawlessly for months until I removed a couple of rules today. Then it seemed to work, but after a couple of minutes I started getting timeouts and connection problems: pages wouldn't load, ping wouldn't even resolve host names, even local connections were not possible.
I uninstalled and installed Lulu again:
- It started working fine.
- After a couple of minutes, no connections possible.
- I disabled Lulu, everything went back to normal again.
- I started a ping - it worked.
- While the ping was running I started Lulu - everything was fine, the ping was still running.
- I stopped the ping and started it again - still fine.
- Now Lulu is running for ~1h and it works ok 🤷
I've never came across this problem before myself, but one of my friends did.
System Version: macOS 12.6 (21G115) Kernel Version: Darwin 21.6.0 Lulu Version: 2.4.2
LuLu keeps preventing me from joining any network when I start my Mac. This has been a constant issue. Finally after deleting LuLu my mac is back to normal, please fix this. This has never not been an issue from the moment I installed lulu
Same problem here, often some services or internet sites are not working until i disable lulu. This seems to be the same issue: https://github.com/objective-see/LuLu/issues/530
