Lulu only shows local network ip of the router
Hi,
using macos 12.1 and the recent version of Lulu, it shows most of the time only the local area ip of my router instead the actual internet address which is accessed. This makes a decision quite difficult and also implies that the access was only within the local area network.
I've seen the same issue. For a handful of apps that may actually be correct (as a developer I do run things that look for stuff on my local network, like local servers), but definitely not for all of them. I feel like this may well be a bug (or "security feature") in macOS to some extent, that obfuscates the real destination. Kind of a side-effect of the Private Relay perhaps, though I know that should only ever affect Safari and Mail? I'm curious what is up here too.
I'm experiencing the same issue. It would be really nice if it could be fixed.
same
I don't think it's a side effect of Private Relay, because it shows even when Private Relay is off. Some help with this issue would be helpful.
This also can't be an issue of the Apple network layer which Lulu uses... Since Litle Snitch uses the same and is capable of resolving the urls properly.
Same issue. I don't think I've ever seen a connect alert from Lulu for any IP other than my internal router at 192.168.x.1.
Possibly related to #332 ?
Same here. Alway 192.168.x.1
