I can confirm this still happens for me on 6.14.0. Strangely, the random writes completely stopped for a day, but they came back the next time I rebooted.

The crash is related to serializing the chat log to JSON before it is saved to disk, and disabling the chat log will fix the issue.

Latest commit seems to solve the issue for me

if you run `sudo env TMPDIR=/nix/tmp nixos-rebuild switch`, it will use the correct tmpdir. Maybe just alias that for now?
