In 6.3 version available in play store, unable to turn on app notifications

In Island 6.3 version, the app notifications are always disable and unable to turn it on in android notification settings. Island watcher and app watcher notifications are completely getting missed. Please see the attached screenshot.

I modified one myself, and the package signature is different. If you have any reason to accept a program from a stranger, please tell me.

it seems in Android 14 and above, the app must ask for notifications permission, if it's not requested, it treats it as you denying permission.

seems this needs an update to request the correct permissions so that we can grant them.
