Consider integrating with Musescore

Just wondering if you've considered writing this as part of the open-source Musescore software rather than stand-alone. I don't know how much harder it would be, but you'd end up getting a ton of features, such as MIDI playback / DAW integration and Mac OS X builds, for "free".

It does support tabs for some instruments already - https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tablature

I'm not a good programmer, but if you are interested but don't have time to investigate, I'd be happy to do an investigation into this and report the results back here.
