Possible to have this active on normal phone speaker, without bluetooth device connected?

The VC sound in aliucord is extremely muddy, especially when someone's streaming video content, but with your plugin and bluetooth headphones im able to switch between the audio sources and get the crisp audio quality through the phone speakers instead, but as soon as i disconnect my bluetooth headphones or disable your plugin it goes back to the terrible quality.

Just annoying that i have to connect bluetooth headphones to get acceptable audio quality on the phone speaker. So is it possible to either add a setting in the plugin or create a new separate plugin that does the exact same thing but for all audio in VC's, or at least for the speaker without a bluetooth device connected.

(Not sure if it's a bug but it's currently working to my advantage since I'm able to push the bluetooth quality to the speaker but if i switch between phone and bluetooth i get the sound in my headphones, if i switch between speaker and bluetooth i get the same crisp quality through the speaker)

A secondary solution would be if you know of a way to spoof a connected bluetooth device or some other way to get the same result without actually connecting a pair of headphones, without root.

Just noticed something else, when I'm using your plugin to get a better audio quality on the speaker, i still get the sound from ppl connecting and leaving the call in the headphones, so the discord sounds and the video sounds are separated, so this could even be used to disable the VC connect/disconnect sounds on android 👍

Not sure wym but on speaker the quality should be normal without the plugin too.

Well, its "normal" for the android app, ive since tried the stock app as well on my own phone, my brothers phone and one of my friends phone, and it's the exact same problem.

It's not really a problem when it's just someone talking but when ppl are streaming video content it's extremely noticable, and it only seems to be on the android app, i can bypass it by using discord in my phone browser or the pc app even.

Not sure how it's playing the sound but it's not using the regular output that media uses, you can verify this by trying to lower the volume with all the separate volume sliders and the ones normally used for playing video or audio doesn't work. You're also able to play other media at the same time and change their volumes separately.

From googling it seems like a issue a lot of ppl has been complaining about since they removed some settings in some version a lot older than the aliucord version.

So I'm just wondering if it's possible to make this work without bluetooth headphones plugged in? Not sure if it's possible to capture with screen record but i could try to capture the difference to show you

So if the issue occurs on the non modded version of Discord, it is not really related to this plugin, isn't it?

Sorry if i explained it poorly, Im not saying there's a problem with your plugin or that the issue itself is related to your plugin, im just wondering if the solution you used to fix bluetooth headphone audio would also work without bluetooth headphones connected.

So it's more of a "request" to expand on the current plugin to also cover this or create a second plugin that uses this fix for all VC audio or at least when using speaker.

Since I'm able to get crystal clear audio from the phone speakers while bluetooth headphones are connected and your plugin is enabled i thought it might be possible

I think it's possible to enable better audio quality for speakers. In fact the quality isn't dependant on the output device, the name for this plugin is therefore not really correct, but I am not aware of any quality decrease when using speakers. I don't really plan on looking into this more than I have done currently, but I'll reopen the issue in case I ever pick it up in the future
