Droid VNC Server Is Detecting Internal Baseband/USB IP Instead of WIFI IP

Open ForestCat4 opened this issue 9 years ago • 1 comments

Verizon Bionic OS 4.12 Rooted No SIM card, using in home w/ WiFi Only

Here is the problem: The app is grabbing the wrong VLAN IP, incorrectly detecting 192.168.157.1 as the phones IP, rather than the actual WiFi static IP of 192.168.1.115. The WiFi internet connectivity is fine, i.e. all the "packaged" apps work.

What I've tried: Changing the static IP Putting the phone in Airplane mode and re-enabling only WiFi

I have seen this 192.168.157.x address attributed to both Motorola's internal baseband network, as well as internal USB connectivity, don't know which it is.

Can anyone provide some solution to disable it, or work around this?

Thanks for any help

Well, just connect the wifi IP of you phone in your PC. This works in my senario
