"Export test results" produces incorrect file on Linux

Trying to export the test results from an automation script on Linux does not work as expected.

The test results shown after running a test automation script (in this case shadowtest) write a "blank" file to disk when clicking Export Test Results. Screenshot after running the test case clearly shows errors: TestResults The produced test results file is "empty": TestResultsFile
