It is not documented in the README, but it has been implemented already, at least on their default branch.

This was released 4 months ago, Typst support was merged in last month.

No worries! Unfortunately we can't be on the "bleeding edge" by depending on the default branch or any git refs, as that would prohibit releases to crates.io (also, stability concerns).

The glyph for this filetype will be available at codepoint \uf37f when new NF releases new version.
