Unexpected canonical URL - follow up

Hi @khalwat, I'm following up on the issue outlined in ticket #1609.

Thanks for your advice. We've updated the project so that all sites are in the same site group.

Per the docs, we've also switched off Site Groups define logically separate sites

However, this hasn't resulted in any change. Visiting the URL mydomain.com/cs-cz/about-us still renders the following SEOmatic markup:

Could you please take a further look at this?

So you're saying changing that setting resulted in no change in the rendered markup? Is there a layer of caching that might not be being updated here?

Does the same thing happen in your local development environment?

That's correct, changing that setting resulted in no change in the rendered markup. I've tried clearing all caches, but still no change.

This testing has all been done in my local development environment.

I've been trying to reproduce this locally so I can debug it for you, but thus far I've been unable to. I'll post some results shortly.
