Feature request: S/MIME capability

The possibility to check S/MIME signatures in emails, and allow to sign and encrypt emails with S/MIME.

+1, right now a signed email from my phone is just looking like an attachment. This works in Apple Mail and Outlook.

Without S/MIME support this email client is not usable in the workplace. That's why Thunderbird still shines when using Linux.

I want to use Nylas a lot of but without S/MIME it is not possible in serious, global projects
