It wold be wonderful if there would be an official repository containing stable builds of Nylas Mail (again). There is already a hook for adding the legacy repository. So the new URL and public key should be added to it as well.

I'm not sure about it but I think they used this task for it.

That's a shame, it doesn't use the standard build process, and would need to have proper packaging made up for it. Let me see what I can do.

Running npm run build-client should output a .deb into the dist directory, as well as an rpm.

For what t is worth, I believe Mailspring will be using snap to package. It looks like that will be one package for all distros? Perhaps worth looking into.

Well the nice thing about either ppa or snap would be that you can have it autobuild. But I didn't actually use it, and things might still change.
