Title and summary don't work on LinkedIn share

Open PatrickBokhove opened this issue 5 years ago • 8 comments

When sharing something on LinkedIn, the LinkedIn page will ask you if you want to share it as a private message or a normal post. When selecting either option, the title and the summary are lost.

@PatrickBokhove I'm having the same issue. There seemingly used to be workarounds, but I'm not sure they work anymore

Maybe this would help:

"Without becoming linkedIn business partner you can only share URL but not description, images or videos etc." source: https://stackoverflow.com/a/54946425

Same Issue with description, but I think the title might be working cause I have a meta title tag in the head <meta property='og:title' content="My title" />. I'm going to try this with description also
