This issue is not specific to rockchip kernel, but to `ubuntu-rockchip`. I built armbian from scratch and found that it was not affected.
Because the MPP is patched to use 64-aligned pitch. https://github.com/nyanmisaka/mpp/commit/1c92144b40d087a9224e7a2784e8170016cff087 https://github.com/nyanmisaka/mpp/commit/78868cb6110afac329c540443c8f4acd8f49d303
Another possibility is that the GPU firmware wasn't loaded correctly. Please check with `sudo dmesg | grep i915`.
This doesn't look right. ``` [ 8.576833] mei_gsc i915.mei-gscfi.768: FW not ready: resetting: dev_state = 2 pxp = 0 [ 8.576855] mei_gsc i915.mei-gscfi.768: unexpected reset: dev_state = ENABLED fw status...
Everything is fine in userspace and vainfo. But I've never seen these two lines in dmesg. ``` [ 8.576873] mei i915.mei-gscfi.768-46e0c1fb-a546-414f-9170-b7f46d57b4ad: Could not read FW version ret = -19 [...
Ubuntu 22.04 LTS was not originally intended for Arc GPUs. HWE kernel 6.5 made Arc support possible, but there were some quirks in loading firmware on earlier kernels. This has...
Just a FYI, `jellyfin-ffmpeg` includes our homemade native filter `tonemap_cuda`. It has lower overhead than `hwupload+libplacebo` impl (extra semaphore required for interop between CudaVulkan) and performs better on entry-level nVidia...
@mertalev The image produced by `tonemap_cuda` is less saturated because the filter option `desat` is not turned off. Just like `tonemap_opencl`, it imposes a fixed value for desaturation. ![1 mp4_20240516_101637...
> @nyanmisaka Thanks, disabling de-saturation did the trick! The colors in the OpenCL image actually look closer to the HDR video than with libplacebo now. In fact, tone-mapping is a...
Hi @mertalev, `jellyfin-ffmpeg` is part of Jellyfin Server and we prioritize stability for the HWA platforms we have declared support for. Most of the features of `jellyfin-ffmpeg6` had been tested...
