My windows 10 computer detected a virus when I was downloading. Does the program have a virus built-in?

Cryptocurrency mining software is often flagged as a "virus" by antivirus tools due to the nature of the program. However, this does not mean that the software is harmful or has a """virus""" built-in.. That being said, if you're not familiar with mining, it may be best to avoid using these tools altogether.
