Word Selection Not Working

This probably the wrong place to be asking this, so pls forgive, but I'm at a loss here.

I use shift + option/alt + right or left arrow to jump select one word at a time, but all of a sudden this functionality disappeared from my atom. Any ideas? I made no changes to my atom themes or UI. Big loss in productivity.

I just tried this in my local installation, and it works fine.

Can you try the following:

  • Open the Key Binding Resolver (macOS: cmd+.)
  • Try to select the next word by pressing alt+shift+right

For me, this shows editor:select-to-end-of-word, see the screenshot...

I don't get the select-to-end-of-word when doing so

Sorry for not having replied only now but I'm a beginner and I don't use mac. I'm having trouble seeing my work on git hub. I uploaded as explained online but it seems to read only HTML and not CSS. I was told to create a repository and not a project to show my work to friends. What do you think?
