ne_10m_geography_marine_polys: Scotia Sea vs Elephant Island
In ne_10m_geography_marine_polys, the Scotia Sea seems to be about halfway underneath what the ne_10m_land data set gives as the location of Elephant Island.

The 2002 draft edition update of S23 (Limits of Oceans and Seas, International Hydrographic Organization) seems to indicate (it's a long boundary specification) that Clarence Island, which here is showing up on the southeastern boundary of the Scotia Sea, should actually have the Scotia Sea on the north side of it. If I'm reading S23 correctly, Cape Lloyd - the northernmost point on Clarence Island (that's the island on the right side of the screenshot) - should be on the southern boundary of the Scotia Sea.
It's also supposed to share a boundary on its west with the east boundary of the Drake Passage - if the Drake Passage is updated, the Scotia Sea should be updated at the same time.
Can you share a link to the source, please?

If you mean the draft 2002 IHO S23 specification, here's a link -
https://legacy.iho.int/mtg_docs/com_wg/S-23WG/S-23WG_Misc/Draft_2002/Draft_2002.htm
The various parts of it are there as separate documents. The Scotia Sea is covered under the section for the South Atlantic (section 4.2) and the Drake Passage is covered in the adjoining section.
Looking at the candidate 5.2.0 ne_10m_geography_marine_polys - thank you for fixing Scotia Sea.
It looks like a hole was left where it used to be, though - shouldn't one of the surrounding waterbodies be expanded to fill in the gap?
