Excel:- NVDA does not report range selection when selected as part of an equation

1:) Open Excel 2:) Fill a range of cells with some numbers. 3:) Using cursor keys and shift, select that range 4:) NVDA correctly reports that range.: e.g. A1 42 through B5 3.141 selected row 1 column 1 5:) start writing an equation in another cell. e.g =MAX( 6:) Select range of cells for that equation using cursors and shift (as before) 7:) NVDA does not report the range.

I have tried this on different computers with different versions of NVDA , Office, and Windows. Still the same problem.
