NVDA does not report when the "Styles" toolbar is opened or closed in Word with keystroke

Open Qchristensen opened this issue 2 years ago • 5 comments

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Word
  2. Press control+alt+shift+s to open the styles toolbar.
  3. Press control+alt+shift+s to close the styles toolbar.

Actual behavior:

NVDA does not report anything at steps 3 and 4, when opening or closing the toolbar. The toolbar does appear (It does not take focus automatically, you need to press F6 to move to it).

Expected behavior:

NVDA should report when the toolbar appears or disappears. If the toolbar is already open, pressing control+alt+shift+s closes it again, so although it does not take focus, it is still very useful to know whether pressing the shortcut has opened or closed it.
