Other questions
Does the issue still occur after restarting your computer?
Yes
Have you tried any other versions of NVDA? If so, please report their behaviors.
Yes. Multiple earlier versions of NVDA exhibit the same behavior.
If NVDA add-ons are disabled, is your problem still occurring?
Yes.
Does the issue still occur after you run the COM Registration Fixing Tool in NVDA's tools menu?
Yes.
Does nvda gets frozen when outlook is loading for you too?
I can reproduce this on my machine as well. Disabling the CalenderView in the builtin outlook appmodule in NVDA seems to "solve" the problem. So I expect that it is the same issue as #12246, which is on hold for an external fix.
Can this still be reproduced with the latest Outlook and NVDA? Please provide the version of Outlook and NVDA you can reproduce this with. The issue is missing the Outlook version number.
The next steps to investigating this issue would be creating a crash dump from Outlook using these steps. Once a crash dump is created we can debug the cause.
I have tested this with NVDA 2024.1 (portable version) with Outlook 365 MSO (Version 2403 Build 16.0.17425.20176) 64-bit and cannot reproduce it anymore
Thanks for confirming - closing for now. Please let us know if this can be reproduced with the latest Outlook and NVDA
