Allow ignoring SVGs

Is there no way to ignore the transformation of SVGs? Using Nuxt Content, whether using the prose image syntax or html img tag, SVGs get transformed regardless. Problem is, they end up being physically twice as small. Overriding the densities in Nuxt config doesn't address this either.
