Created folders are not being displayed

My folders keep disappearing. When I create a new folder, it takes me to that node URL where I can attach files just fine as any authorized user of my system. When I later go back and click on the folders tab, instead of seeing a list of my folders, I see "Please add your first Folder to get started." and the "Add Folder" button.

My install location is {install_base}atrium/sites/all/modules/features/nuvoleweb-atrium_folders-5412600, and I just re-extracted this version from the GIT repo this morning and it's still acting up.

When you are saving the file in an individual group you need to select <Create a New Folder> from the Folder Tree section.

I'm having the same problem as well (uploading files regardless). The folders that I created just weren't saved. I'd be surprised if not many others are encountering this issue.

Same issue here. Even though I've created two folders, one with a sub-folder and all with notepad documents uploaded to test them out, none of them appear when I click the 'Folders' tab, both from the main dashboard and from the groups pages. I'm told to add my first folder to get started - but I've already done this. I've tried to adjust the feature settings (as admin and manager), but Atrium Folders is not appearing in the list of features (when clicked from main page, not admin panel - it appears there) - maybe a related problem, or maybe a coincidence.

Here's the solution: Go to Administer > Content Management > Content Types > Folders > In organic Groups select (Wiki Group Post) .

This would make Folders appear in your OGs.

The icon for Folders did appear in the OGs (we've deactivated it for now), but the main issue was that the Folders page was always blank despite folders having been created. Will be testing out file explorer some time next week, I think.

sayadav has it right. kdmcguire, try those instructions. The folder icon shows up in your groups regardless of whether you have the Folders content type able to be posted into an OG.

For existing folders you'll then need to edit them and set them to the appropriate group [again.]

I'm having the same issue with my folders. The first folder in a group I created worked fine - after returning to folders from the feature menu, my folder was still there.

Subsequent folders in groups did not appear. I checked my content type settings for folder, they are properly set to Wiki Group Post for organic groups. I resaved the content type anyway.

New folders and resaved folders do not appear under the folders navigation. It remains the "add your first folder" view.

Nevermind, this was my fault. I had installed outline designer (for books) as well as a module called nobookoutline to get rid of the outline designer on certain content types, and had thus removed the book stuff from my folders. Reconfiguring that and then resaving the folders brings them back.

I had the same issue, in my case i simply forgot to select a specific group within the creation-form.
