Recurrence date for non-fixed schedules is not clear

Open DonHege opened this issue 10 years ago • 2 comments

Hello,

I experienced an issue regarding tasks for every nth day of the month. First, I created a new issue which starts on the second Friday of a month(in this case February 13th, but I also tested with March 13th). Then I tried to add a recurrence for every 2nd Friday of a month. But the dropdown menu only offers 23rd day and 4th Monday as recurrence (I guess because today is the 23rd and the 4th Monday).

I would fix it by myself, but I'm not familiar with Redmine plugins.

Best regards, Marco

Tried it with Redmine 2.6.2.stable and 2.3.0.stable.

This is because of the way we've defined the date to use for recurrence. For fixed schedules, it uses the due date; for non-fixed schedules, it uses the date closed or updated. Still investigating.
