@numtel What's the procedure to enable binlog on MySQL 5.6 + running on a RDS. There's no my.cnf file on RDS.

Basically my bin log files are located at Uploading Screen Shot 2015-09-04 at 3.11.15 pm.png…

I wish I could find a answer for this as well... I'm trying to make this module to work using a remote database on AWS RDS... I did all the changes pointed on doc... on my AWS instance I found the my.conf file located at /etc/my.conf... Restarted my instance and still not able to work...

I was able to make it run on my local and I was very hopeful I could make it work on my AWS instance... no lucky so far...

Ok... I just found out that it is not possible to set or edit the binlog on RDS... we just don;t have access to it... this one the down side of having RDS as server for MySQL

You can read more here http://dba.stackexchange.com/questions/34525/amazon-rds-for-mysql-vs-installing-mysql-on-an-amazon-ec2-instance

I have just found out that you need to enable backup for your RDS instance else binlog is automatically turned off
