There's some missing icons for Scilab files! The mimetypes are :

  • [x] application-x-scilab
  • [ ] application-x-scilab-bin
  • [ ] application-x-scilab-cos
  • [ ] application-x-scilab-cosf
  • [ ] application-x-scilab-dem
  • [ ] application-x-scilab-graph
  • [ ] application-x-scilab-sav
  • [ ] application-x-scilab-sce
  • [ ] application-x-scilab-sci
  • [ ] application-x-scilab-sod
  • [ ] application-x-scilab-tst
  • [ ] application-x-scilab-xcos
  • [ ] application-x-scilab-zcos

Well, there are two types: .sci and .sce. Both x-scilab. I'll try do xcos (circle icon) and its mimetype too.

@bil-elmoussaoui could you provide the original mimetype icon of each one of the scilab listed here?

it's a lot harder if there are no reference design

They are the same as the one i posted here. Just the text changes

hlechner avatar Dec 08 '15 17:12 hlechner

hlechner avatar Dec 08 '15 17:12 hlechner

In his PR he mentionned that he does not have the time to fix this one. I don't know if that has changed

First drafts: imageimageimage

Description: Added the text (but for these drafts I didn't aligned yet) to files and use a symbol size of an inferior size: 64>48, 48>32, 32>24, maybe i need tweak a bit but it's the essence. what you guys think?

hlechner avatar Dec 10 '15 17:12 hlechner

Hmm. One px upwards?

andia89 avatar Dec 10 '15 17:12 andia89

@hlechner You still have them?

andia89 avatar Sep 05 '16 11:09 andia89

wow, it was a long ago, sorry @wa4557

I think I still have it but I didn't have finished it, let me take a look.

hlechner avatar Dec 29 '16 15:12 hlechner

What exactly are those BIN files? I think the BIN lable might make it look too generic like a general binary file.

palob avatar Dec 29 '16 15:12 palob

I don't know actually, I just tried to create a label by the mimetypes names.

Maybe @bil-elmoussaoui can help us with the @palob question

hlechner avatar Dec 29 '16 15:12 hlechner

I'd just do symlinks here. If anyone is still around and still uses Scilab: do we actually need the symlinks or are those additional mime types subclasses of application-x-scilab so the existing icon is already being shown?
