Per #37 there also needs to be a menu bar icon.

Here's an idea that I can't make look good at menu bar icon sizes. Or at normal size.

A rotary switch knob such as:

It is not recognizably close.

That makes me think more of a knob. The image I get in my mind for the type of switching I'm doing is more like one of those two-way spring rockers: http://i00.i.aliimg.com/wsphoto/v1/836968898/6-Pins-KCD4-AC-15A-30A-250V-DPDT-Black-Button-Momentary-Spring-Returned-On-Off-On.jpg

I don't see the icon much though so I'd be happy with anything recognizable.

also thanks for the app, it fixed a big pet peeve of mine in os x.
