More distros support.
Cathook is based on Linux which is good. But Linux isn’t like windows where the option s and windows 8.1 ,10 and 11. Linux comes in many distributions.
You guys have did an awesome job of supporting multiple distros but it is not enough. My suggestion is that you should also try compatibility with distros like pop os and zorin etc.
Thanks for reading my suggestion and I will be waiting for a reply.
Pop OS and Zorin OS are both Ubuntu/Debian based. cathook supports Ubuntu, Debian, and Arch Linux (maybe some more I'm missing).
There's no reason why it wouldn't work. Can you please give us more information on what isn't working on those distros? Compiling may not be distro-agnostic, but the stable AppImage certainly should be.
I am so sorry to waste your time. Seems like I was very misguided about the support by a guy on telegram yesterday. I should have not been reckless and tried it.
Binary mode works on most distros, some however have very dated packages so even that doesn't run. Yes, more should be supported, but it's difficult to compile a static cathook that runs everywhere
I'd also like RebornOS support btw
@Auditormadness9 Suggest you help support it then.
Figure out how packaging works, how you can version check your distro via CLI, does it even inject with the GUI AppImage, does your OS package freeze, if so are the packages too outdated or too new, how is Steam installed, etc?
Developers do not have time to test every possible distro and OS, or make a distro-agnostic static binary.

Agreed. Atm I can only say that bots are stuck at STARTING and do not advance to the next status. Everything else seems to work fine.
