Are the "wsl --export" and "wsl --import" commands sufficient.

just copy ext4.vhdx.

Perform the following steps when you need to restore:

  1. Install a fresh distro normally using wsl-distrod
  2. Execute wsl --shutdown
  3. Replace the ext4.vhdx of the newly installed distro with the backed up ext4.vhdx

  3. Replace the ext4.vhdx of the newly installed distro with the backed up ext4.vhdx

Where is this ext4.vhdx located when installed using distrod.
