bug: readpicture not cached Cover Image if set Table style on Playlist

System Details OS: Arch Linux Desktop Environment: KDE Version: 3.3.0-1 Installed by: AUR

If playlist set style Table, Album covers not cached... It's worked with only Sorted Albums

If i'm again switch to style Table - cover will be show, because it's cached... But if you use only style Table, cache not will be worked for new added files

Bug reproduced if you play files from Server Folders or Home Folders. Step for reproduce:

  • set Table style for playlist
  • close Cantata
  • remove ~/.cache/Cantata
  • run Cantata and play any Folder from Server Folders or Home Folders.

I can confirm. I assumed from the title (readpicture) that the cover has to be requested via the MPD protocol. I also needed to disable direct access to the files via the specified Music folder in the collection settings.

This issue is also present when the “Expanded Interface” is disabled from the “Settings” menu, regardless which play queue style is configured.
