Lawyer upgrades are OP
In my humble opinion, the upgrade path for lawyers is too powerful. It seems like there are 5 or 6 lawyer buffs that take 5% or 10% off for each lawyer. My raid percentage is about -200% right now and it seems to give me too much breathing room to keep the game challenging. Great job so far though.
Wait to see the Congress upgrades xD I'm near -1k% due to the achievement "Government Shutdown". Maybe each additional lawyer/congress should give you less negative % of risk. Great game.
@Sugsaggu good suggestion, I think a lot of the imbalance at later parts of the game with things like lawyers/senators has to do with the scale of the operation having nothing to do with the percentage. Maybe lawyers should negate risk on production or distribution up to N units per second instead of a percentage, that way it eliminates lawyers/senators from being a very very inexpensive salvo late-game.
Say for instance, a lawyer negates 100% of the risk on $100/sec of distribution, and a senator negates 100% of the risk on $2,500/sec of distribution. So by the time you're onto the cosmic stuff, you can't buy another lawyer for super cheap and negate 5% of the risk on 1 billion dollars per second, for the same price that you would negate 5% of the risk on $100 per second.
This is a much bigger change and probably doesn't fit in the scope of this game. But it's a fun exercise!
Totally agree with you beager, maybe their influence should be about amount of money instead of a fixed amount of % risk. The game as it is now, it's very easy, if one focus on having a negative % of risk, and then buy a production tier regardless of the risk you can have everything. But as you say, maybe it is not in the scope of the game.
Maybe lawyers should start with a lower -risk, but upgrades should get you very low.
I have -70000 % chance. Before they increased lawyer costs , I bought thousands and all upgrades. Now I just scoff at risk
