Valid feature request. But currently I moved to vs code and don't have much time to spare. Though I might make an extension for vs code.
Anyway, I'll try to squeeze some time for minor updates on this project.
Might be a "Pick to Clipboard" command, and you can assign hotkey yourself. But in which color format?
