Swappable sound banks (wopl format)?
Would it be possible to allow the driver to use @Wohlstand format WOPL sound banks (and other formats)? It would be very convenient for composing music for certain opl formats being able to hear the sounds as they're meant to.
Hello! On my end, I do have the libADLMIDI-based WinMM driver similar to these one, and it used hot-swappable WOPL banks easily. You can try out these builds:
- https://builds.wohlsoft.ru/win32/libADLMIDI-winmm-driver-all.7z - both x86 and x64, on 64-bit systems you need to install both, as 32-bit applications will require 32-bit version of the thing. The Windows XP and newer is required. On Windows 10 since some revisions, the driver might get auto-removed becaue it's "improperly"-installed driver, I didn't figured on how to fix that. Just keep this in a mind.
- https://builds.wohlsoft.ru/win32/libADLMIDI-winmm-driver-prexp.7z - special version of the driver that works on Windows 2000.

Thankyou, I'll try that out!
