App "deinstalled" after LineageOS 18.1 -> 19.1 update

Open jedie opened this issue 3 years ago • 2 comments

I updated LineageOS on my Moto G7 Power from 18.1 to 19.1 (The MicroG Version from https://download.lineage.microg.org/ )

The "FOSS Warn" app was installed and worked in the past. After the update the App is away... This is the only app where this happened. So I guess it's because of FOSS Warn itself?

But some rests were still there, because i can't just install it from F-Droid:

I used adb to fix it:

~$ adb shell pm list packages | grep "de.n"
package:de.nulide.findmydevice
~$ adb shell pm uninstall de.nucleus.foss_warn
Success
~$ adb shell pm uninstall de.nucleus.foss_warn
Failure [DELETE_FAILED_INTERNAL_ERROR]

That's strange. Unfortunately, I can't test whether it always happens and whether it has anything to do with FOSS Warn itself. Maybe it has something to do with changes with Android 12.

I have the same issue. After upgrading from LineageOS 18.1 to 19.1 on my Fairphone 3, the app disappeared. So seems to have something to do with the upgrade. My OS did not originally have microg.
