adding builtin output redirection to stdout
Hi
I would like to ask if it is possible to add a built-n redirection out output to standard output.
By default, 1: is used for the data, 2: is used for a progress report and other status messages. The progress is printed in a tricky fashion where every new output, overwrites the old line. But this does not play nicely in scripts.
In some cases we save the output to a file anyway, and need to use qaac in script, we may have to get the output manually and process it, especially when doing bulk processing in scripts followed by other actions. Example of issues: https://github.com/MScholtes/PS2EXE/issues/97
FFmpeg addresses this use-case by simply writing -progress pipe:1
Then I can easily capture the output in my script and do what I need to do.
Would it be possible to have a similar option in qaac encoder?
Thanks
