Supercard DSONEi/DSONEi mini
Firmware is on this page: http://eng.supercard.sc/manual/dsone/evolution/znsj.htm
direct download: http://down.supercard.sc/download/evolution/dsoneimini_update_eng_3ds_44010.zip
the firmware updater is an .nds file and is updated by running the file as you would a ROM from the built in main menu.
I have the Mini, specifically. But my limited research has shown that the DSOnei and the DSOnei Mini are the same, with the only difference being that the mini didn't come with a USB flasher (you had to run the updater from the console)
from the ntrboot_flasher dump: ChipID: 00000FC2 HW Rev: 00000000
On the cart, the little bits on the left are numbered 103 and 104. The bigger rectangle chip thing says 24,000 Mhz, and to the right, the little bit is numbered 105. I didn't see any labeling at all on the large square chip. I couldn't get a photo of the backside. it felt like it was glued into place.

This cart works on the 3DS up until firmware 4.4. It was blocked several times along the way, until 4.5 when the blacklist could no longer be beaten by the developers of this cart. a hacked 3DS with a whitelist or other workaround can still play this cart.
Thank you for your hard work, even if you can't get it running with this cart. :)
Well, out of all the DS One related stuff lately, I think this updater is actually the least complex. The DSTT is a clone, and their updater is very very complex. Someone pointed out that there was an unofficial updater, so I looked into that. It's a lot more straightforward, but still is a bit confusing. This one, though, seems the simplest, so far. Hopefully it will help me support official DSOne, DSTT and some others :)
Great! Thanks for taking the time and best of luck. Sorry I can't be of more help.
OK, I may be able to better support this card if I had some more info/better quality pictures. If you can get me the #s on that QFP chip (top right in the pic) that'd probably help out a lot if it's a proASIC3 then that's not of any help as it's not what I need. If it is a proASIC3, then that means there's a chip on the other side of the board and I'd need that information as well if possible. Sometimes the flashchips are actually under a label. If you don't mind peeling that off, maybe check that if it's not the first chip. Thanks!
So I took a closer look and I don't see ANYTHING at all that identifies that chip. I peeled back the label and there are two more chips. Sadly, the sticker residue obscures the letters and I can't make it out at all. I could try reaching out to the manufacturer, but perhaps I should leave that to you since you know more about what you need, and what for. the only email on the site is [email protected] if you want to reach out to them, or just tell me what to ask and I can reach out.
well, pictures and any partial numbers, etc. would be helpful. Also, use some isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) to help with the removal of the sticker residue; I really just want the numbers for the flash chip. Pictures of the chips under the label might help me identify which is which.
Unfortunately, the supercard team is not terribly helpful. We won't be getting much info from them it seems.
I have a SuperCard DSONEi and I managed to get a good shot of the chip on the back, but the chip on the front didn't have anything on it at all (I tried with different lighting and several photoshop tricks).
Hope this is still helpful in some way

I took pictures of my Supercard DSONEi Mini.
Not in good quality, so I wrote you what were on the chips :

Back (Click to Expand)

Markings on the top chip:
MX M061169 29"l" V320ABTC-90 20557500 TAIWAN
the "l" is because i'm not sure if it is a l or not sorry.
The little chip under it :
E829 70E EMP116MAAFLF P4H00033
I hope this can help you :)
thanks guys, the pictures and numbers are super helpful!
hope this helps (pd: i got this dsonei 3 months ago)

Interesting to see so many variations of the same cart... I hope that doesn't complicate things too much. :/ I'm 99% sure I also have an MXIC chip like what Ceirt posted pictures of. I can see part of the M and the IC on my chip. All the little letters are illegible though. Please let me know if there's a way I can help provide additional information, without risk of bricking my cart. (If you need me to dump other data from the device, though I don't know how, honestly. You'd have to help with that)
I have a DS Onei (not mini) I've got everything like @wabberz (i saw some number and it matches with his number on the chip)

The showed rom is Metroid Demo, i've got the GM9 untrimmed if needed
(And i have the usb updater if needed)
Why is it that the Regular DSONE is labeled as unsupported already even though it has firmware updates as well?? Can someone please explain this because the have the same hardware inside of them...
Where are you seeing that it is unsupported?
cfw.guide blatantly slaps an unsupported label on it as shown here. @TidusWulf http://cfw.guide/ntrboot/compatibility
Im really hoping the original will be supported as well since it is also updatable.
Also i wanted to add that the chip id for the regular DSONE is identical to the DSONEi
Oh wow. I had no idea that page was there. That's handy. Not sure why it's unsupported, though. I guess the devs know best. At least there's currently a wide variety of supported cards to help keep costs down for people who don't have what they need. I'm still hoping this DSOnei Mini becomes supported soon :D
Well if there were actual info of any kind on the progress for DSTWO support rather than 30 pages of R4i clones And DSTT/TTDS Support, i would have more hope for support but it looks like people care more about DSONE. @TidusWulf .
I think you'll just have to suffer thru the R4 clones because they are widespread, cheap, and probably easy to cross-develop for, considering they might have similar underlying architecture. I'm a patient man.
Look, @AlexS2412. Just because a cart has updates doesn't mean we can automatically support it in 15 minutes. There's a couple of carts that aren't implemented because they don't have known read commands, but I plan on pushing through with that. There are some carts that have complex update commands which take time to test and support (dsone/dstt). There are come carts with complex layered crypto (dstwo, with a whole other processor). There are carts where the updater is in the kernel, and is itself encrypted. It really helps when you actually have the cart, too. And on top of that, we're busy. I haven't even been able to do anything besides talk to people occasionally for the last week. :(
I'll ping some people though.
@kitling , thanks for your hard work. There's no rush to getting it done. Real Life comes first. I think what Alex really wanted was just to know why the DSOne was listed as unsupported, when it didn't have any documentation here (from what I can see) in the issues stating how the dev team came to that conclusion.
The dev team is not affiliated with cfw.guide. That's probably a frequently asked question, "is this supported", so they just said no.
Looks like I forgot to say that, but I was thinking it. Sorry about that.
In that, case @alexs2412, perhaps you should post photos of your hardware internals and your dump, just so the developers can be sure it's the same stuff inside.
Seeing as how i only have one and it has the same chips ids and HWID id... theres no point tearing open the pcb for my only DSONE @tiduswulf
Is old DS ONE flashable? I'd just open this adhesive hell and took some photos.
