Great script, but doesn't work for maximised or snapped apps...

Open fatmcgav opened this issue 10 years ago • 3 comments

This script is great for most of my usage requirements.

However it doesn't appear to work with most apps when maximised or snapped apps... Is this a known issue?

Am running Fedora 20 with Cinnamon.

Lmk if you need any more info.

And cheers for an otherwise great script :)

Cheers Gav

+1 for this. Though for me maximized works, but snapped doesn't. Running Ubuntu 14.04.

In Linux Mint with Cinnamon it doesn't work with maximized or snapped windows. Might be because I have two monitors with distinct resolutions.

Same for me. Can confirm it has nothing to do with resolution (at least). Have two monitors of same resolution (2560×1440), though different size (one 24", the other 27"). When a window is snapped the script first seems to unsnap it to some odd size, then you can move the window to the other screen. After that you'd have to snap it again. Unfortunate, but this scenario doesn't occur all that often for me and some time you'll get used to it 😆
