Mirrored traffic flag doesn't work: traffic sent remains at 0.
Environment:
- OS name: ntop/ntopng docker image running on opensuse tumbleweed
- OS version: rolling
- Architecture: x64
- ntopng version/revision: v.6.2.250424
What happened: I am mirroring the port my router is connected to. In ntopng I set the interface connected to the monitor port to 'mirrored traffic' and add the mac address of the router. I expect ntopng to differentiate between ingress/egress traffic but sent packets remains at 0.
How did you reproduce it? As above
Debug Information:
Hi @endeavour could you share your ntopng.conf file? Because probably you need to configure the local networs by using the -m option in order to properly work
I am running the docker image so I haven't modified the config file, but I am passing the following command line args:
-i enp1s0 --local-networks="10.0.0.0/16"
You need to remove the :Mac address based traffic directions"
